With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruby Evans (Knoxville, Tennessee), born in Sheffield, Alabama, who passed away on November 30, 2019 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Worley Sr. Evans and John Ella Harris Evans; her son John "Skinny" Evans; her grandchildren, Ke'Siyah, Le-Shae and Travis Ballinger; her siblings, Bertha, Lola, Mary Alice, Offie, Worley Jr., Louise and Louis; and her friend Mary Ruth Bost (Walter "Leon" Carter).
She is survived by : her children, Susie, Barbara, Cora, Arthur, James, Dorothy, Glenn (Priscilla), Donna, Raven, Gregory (Ericka), Barry and Steven; and her close friend Mary Francis Tucker. She is also survived by 36 grandchildren; 65 great grandchildren and 45 great great grandchildren.
