He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Taylor and Ellen McMurray Taylor; and his former wife Gerry Guarna Taylor. He is survived by: his wife Linda Anderson Taylor; his children, Samuel Houston Taylor III (Julia), Ellen Taylor Jones (Randy), Melanie Jaynes and Andy Taylor (Kip Hill); his grandchildren, Joshua Monday, Abbey Taylor Charles (Joey Charles), Jessica Jones, Ian Forton, Allison Taylor and Andrew Forton; and his great grandchild Roman Charles.
