She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Berning and Mary Berning (Sylvia); and her brothers, Army Corporal Robert Berning and Thomas Berning. She is survived by: her children, Jackie Wilson (Liahna) and Kellie Macaulay (Mark); and her grandchildren, Ally and Sammy Macaulay.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to support her granddaughter's fight for cancer thru her go fund me: Striking-Out Cancer for Sammy Mac # 6.
