He was predeceased by : his parents, Theodore Roosevelt and Nora Burris; his wife Barbara Burris (Anderson); and his brothers, Carl Burris and Arthur Burris.

He is survived by : his children, Shirleen Burris, Kimesia Burris, Theodore Byron Burris Sr., Mark Burris (Carmella), Bradley Burris and Vincent Burris (Cheryl); his grandchildren, Corey Burris, Aubrey Burris, Byron Gilmore, Yasmin Ellis (Terrence), Alyshia McDuffey (Ernest), Alan Burris, LaQuisha Burris, Justin Burris (Ebony), Cameron Burris, Ashlee Burris, Kyra Burris, Da'Nashia Burris, Theodore Byron Burris Jr. and Nadia Burris; and his siblings, Rose William of Cleveland, OH, Deanna Brabson, Marvin Burris, Melvin Burris of Cleveland, OH, William Burris (Joyce) and Wilbur Burris (Shea). He is also survived by other loving nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Social distancing and face coverings are required.
