The memory of Timothy K. James of Knoxville, Tennessee, who passed away on April 25, 2024 at the age of 66, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. As Timothy departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Timothy may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Timothy leaves behind.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Virgil James and Mary Jo Layman James; and his brother Randy James. He is survived by : his significant other Rose; his children, Tammie Burnett (James) and Virgil James (Heather); his grandchildren, Ethan, Issac, Amelia, Savannah and Oliver; and his sister Nadine Varner (Rodney). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Powell Chapel (2000 Powell Drive 37849). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Edgewood Cemetery (219 S Gallaher View Rd, Knoxville, TN 37919).
