Timothy Sanders Parker Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Timothy Sanders Parker (Knoxville, Tennessee), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 29, 2025 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob Parker and Jean Parker; and his mother-in-law Betsy Mashburn. He is survived by: his wife Missy Parker; his children, Kathy Potter (Ryan), Macy Parker (Peter) and Sam Parker (Lucy); his granddaughter Ellis; his siblings, David Muffelman (Pam), Paula Campbell (Greg), Joe Parker (Evelyn), John Parker (Kathi), Robin Parker (Karen), Chet Parker (Mary), Dan Parker (Angela) and Sam Parker (Linda); his in-laws, Bob and Ginna Mashburn; and his aunt Patti. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Central United Methodist Church (201 3rd Ave, Knoxville, TN 37917).
In lieu of flowers, Tim's family would love donations to be made to Alzheimer's Tennessee (under "Special Instructions," please indicate you'd like the donation to go to Howard's Circle of Friends – the organization that supported Tim and Missy throughout his battle with Alzheimer's) as well as to Sacred Ground Hospice House.
