She was predeceased by : her brother Thich Minh Tán; and her daughter Lydia Nicole "Nikki" Butler. She is survived by : her children, Jason D. Butler and Christina "Christy" N. Ringle (Nathan). She is also survived by nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous friends.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial be made to the Buddhist Monastery Chùa Hải Ấn 5375 Sanders Road Lake City, GA 30260.
