He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Ann Yoakum; his parents, Wallace Sr. Yoakum and Launa Yoakum; his siblings, Gillis Yoakum, Jerry Yoakum, Pauline and Lorene Yoakum; his siblings-in-law, Ray Sweat, Kelmer Cupp, Ronnie Cates and Helen Riley; and his grandson Gabriel Yoakum.
He is survived by: his sons, Dennis (Beth), David (Stephanie) and Wayne Yoakum; his grandsons, Isaac and Benjamin; his siblings, Faye-Sis Sweat and Harry Yoakum (Pam); and his siblings-in-law, Betty Yoakum, Jimmy Cates (Jocie), Nelson Riley and Betty Cupp. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
