He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Elmer Arwood and Minnie Arwood; his brother Jack Arwood of Wilmington; and his siblings-in-law, Bob Flanagan of Maryville, Larry Sherril of Dunlap and Betty Sherrill (Benny) of Knoxville.
He is survived by: his wife Jennie; his son David; his siblings, Bob Arwood (Pat) of Maryville, Patricia Simons (Walter) of Greeneville and Carolyn Hedrick (Curtis) of Vonore; his siblings-in-law, Susan Arwood of Wilmington, Jody Jones of Jefferson, Rose Helen Ellis (Roy) of Lee, Candy Haines (Don) of Toccoa, Georgia and Terry Sherrill (Donna) of Oviedo; and his pets, Simba, Patches, Enzo and Christian. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Young-Williams Animal Center.
