Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Winfred Garland Wilson (Knoxville, Tennessee), who passed away at the age of 75, on September 3, 2020. He was predeceased by: his parents, Winfred Oliver Wilson and Iva James Wilson. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Leatherwood Wilson; and his sons, Barrett Garland Wilson (Katlyn) and Mathew Samuel Wilson. He is also survived by two brother-in-laws, nieces, cousins, and countless friends.

Due to the pandemic, a celebration of Garland's life will be scheduled at a later date. The family will respectfully require all attendees wear masks and remember social distancing for safety.

The family kindly requests in lieu of flowers that memorial donations be made to Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church at 9132 Kingston Pike in Knoxville, Tennessee 37923 or to Compassion International (http://www.compassion.com).

“Our hearts ache for Becki and the Wilson family. Though I never had the privilege of meeting Garland, I met Becki through serving at Love Kitchen. She often spoke of “the love of her life” with such adoration and commitment. She shared how much he loved the Lord and enjoyed fellowship and serving. There could be know doubt how much he loved her and his sons. We have a God of unfailing love and mercy, He will guard their hearts until they all meet again. Ruth and James🙏🏾”
