He is survived by: his wife Donetta Green Thompson; his daughter-in-law Hope Thompson; his granddaughters, Abby Thompson of Lafayette and Belle Thompson of Lafayette; and his sister Debbie Jenkins Earps (Ronnie) of Hartsville. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
