It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jean Lane of Lafollette, Tennessee, who passed away on August 2, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son Shan Lee Lane; her parents, Earnest Owenby and Gloria Jean Owenby; and her sister Brenda Hall. She is survived by: her sister Joyce Bell (Tommy) of Cosby; her brother-in-law Danny Hall; her sibling's children, Christy Gilland Reek, Kylie Hall, Holly Gilland (Tony), Daniel Hall of Newport, Tyler Hall of Newport and Austin Gilland (Megan) of Newport; and her close friends, Bonnie Veleratle of Newport, Stella Owensby of Newport and Lee Lane of Morristown.
