She was predeceased by: her husband Melvin Cloid McHenry; her parents, Henry Cooper and Sarah Rutherford Cooper; and her siblings, Alice Lowe, Bonnie Lowe and Ed Cooper.

She is survived by: her son Mark (Renee McHenry); her granddaughters, Sara Elisha McHenry and Brandi Stowe (Rick); and her sister Lydia Davis. She is also survived by Several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Cedar Hill Baptist Church.
