He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Smith (Ford); his parents, Ben Smith and Edna Smith (Walters); his sister Marcina Myers; his half-sisters, Mary Bullock and Leotha Fotta; his brother Dennis Smith; and his half-brothers, Truman Smith and Irvin Smith.
He is survived by: his children, David Smith of LaFollette, Brenda Boshears (Arthur) of LaFollette, Patricia Voyles (Jerry) of LaFollette and Dorothy McNeely (Gary) of LaFollette; and his pet Brownie. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, faithful companion.
