He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Wilson and Mona Lee Henegar; and his siblings, Junior Pennington, Harrison Pennington, Richard Goins, J. L. Goins and Imogene Howard.
He is survived by: his fiancée Martha Walden of LaFollette; his son Eric Lee Walden of Jacksboro; his fiancée's daughters, Heather Nicole Chadwell of LaFollette, April Goins of LaFollette and Audrey King of LaFollette; his siblings, Willie Goins (Rita) of Jacksboro, Jimmy Goins (Brenda) of Alabama, Joann Pierce of Rocky Top, Rosa Mary Shanteau of Jacksboro, Anna Phillips (Kenneth) of Jacksboro and Willene Braden of Rocky Top; and his nephew Jimmy Orick (Jessica Davis). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild.
