He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Adkins and Amy Kimberlin Adkins; and his siblings, Clayton Adkins, Lester Adkins, Walter Adkins, Chester Adkins, Raymond Adkins, Lee Lawson and Brenda Rohrback.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Steakley Adkins; his children, Karen Lawson, Melissa Sweat (Eric) and Danny Ray Adkins; and his siblings, Don Adkins, Billy Adkins (Barbara), Lloyd Adkins, Jerry Adkins and Helen Adkins. He is also survived by Twelve Grandchildren; Nine Great-grandchildren.
