He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert King and Nannie Williams; and his siblings, Ed, James, Beulah Mazingo, White, Irene Porter, Katherine Napier, Carolyn Davis and Lela Gordan.
He is survived by: his wife Gail; his children, Michael, Paula (Matt) and David (Kayla); his grandchildren, Hayden and Jude; and his siblings, Virgil and Doris Everett. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
His greatest sadness was the distance he felt from Covid-19, a sadness his family shared.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to the charity Doyle supported wholeheartedly for so many years, St. Jude's.
