He was predeceased by: his parents, William C. Ladd and Hazel "Cantrell" Ladd; and his siblings, Allan Ladd, Billie Jean Schroll and Midge Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Young Ladd of LaFollette; his children, James Ladd Jr. (Lisa) of Jacksboro, Wayne Ladd of LaFollette and Hazel Tschirner (Craige) of Dayton; and his brothers, Junior Ladd (Dottie) of Ohio and Joe Ladd (Candy) of Ohio. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
