It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Ellison of Lafollette, Tennessee, who passed away on April 8, 2021, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Jim Leavitt; her sister Jacque King; her grandmother Idessa Powell; her niece Jamie Harbin; and her aunts, Lois Ridenour and Laura Taylor.
She is survived by: her husband Terry Lynn Ellison; her daughter Jaleesa Ellison; her mother Joie Leavitt; her brother James Leavitt; her aunts, Dr. Rita Patterson and Trena Smiddy; her sibling's children, Devonna Harbin, Christopher and Kevin Leavitt; and her great-nephews, Kanaan Leavitt and Devin Caudill.
The family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Smoky Mountain Children's Home, c/o LaFollette Church of God, 1906 Jacksboro Pike, LaFollette, TN 37766.
