He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Kidd Leach; his granddaughter Allyson Leigh Shepherd; his parents, Lewis Leach and Tennie Marlow Leach Teague; his brothers, Kenneth, Julius, Earnest Leach and Boy Leach; his stepmother Laura Alice Leach; his stepsiblings, Ellen Smith Craig and Jerry Smith; and his sisters, Muriel Hensley, Jackie Hassler, Jimmie White, Billie June Hamblin and Gloria Ann Allen.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tammy Leach Shepherd (David), Jayna Leach Hembree (Bill) and Kelli Jo Leach Wright (James); his grandchildren, Ashley Weaver (Jeff), John David Shepherd II, Lindsey Lawson (Daniel), Hollie Etters (Josh), Karli Huguenard (Chris) and Karmin Wright; his great grandchildren, Jupiter of Ruby, J. J., Eli, Kynslee, Grayson and Foster; and his siblings, Curt Teague, Bennie Teague, Elizabeth Albertini, Jane Miller and Johnnie Lawson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
