He was predeceased by: his parents, John Cecil "Johnny" Shears and Patricia Sue Walker Shears; and his grandparents, Loretta Walker, John Richard Walker, Lula Shears and William Harrison Shears.
He is survived by: his wife Tamela Byrge Shears; his children, Shelby Sue Marie Shears (Ellison), Johnna Elizabeth Grace Shears (Ellison) and Johnathon Shears (Melissa); his grandchildren, Jaidin Peavley and Bella Peavley; and his siblings, Billy John Walker (Lisa), Tommy Ray Shears (Amy), Kermit Comer, Jr. and Angela Comer. He is also survived by Several Uncles, Aunts, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and other relatives and friends.
