She was predeceased by: her parents, Avery Byrd and Ethel Byrd (Thompson); and her siblings, Jimmy Byrd, Ruby Cook, Peggy Kitts and Betty Farmer.
She is survived by: her daughter Karen McGuire (Glenn) of LaFollette; her sisters, Mary Helen Byrd of LaFollette, JoAnn Clapp (Roger) of Massachusetts, Jewell Gross (R. L.) of LaFollette and Linda Hill (Glen) of Claxton; and her grandchildren, Brooke McGuire of LaFollette and Bri Newport (Noah) of LaFollette. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and relatives.
