He was predeceased by: his wife Debra Nelson; his parents, Millard Nelson and Bertha Nelson (McCullah); his daughter Angela Nelson; and his brothers, Veldon, Glen and James B. Nelson.
He is survived by: his sons, Randy Nelson of Englewood and Mike Nelson of Loveland; his siblings, Ronald Nelson, Laddie Nelson, Donald Nelson, Virgil Nelson, Vernon Nelson, Johnny Nelson, Kathleen Reynolds, Janice Suggs and Reva McGurk; and his grandchildren, Chris, Ryan and Elizabeth. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives.
