He was predeceased by: his father Owen Ivey; and his sister Sandra Harness. He is survived by: his wife Darlena Lawson Ivey; his children, Rodney Ivey, Jessica Phillips, Bruce Phillips, Michael Phillips, Lacey Ivey, Emily Ivey, Hayden Ivey, Skylar Ivey and Bryson; his grandchildren, Zach, Brittany, Jacob, Colton, Josh and Addilynn; his great grandchild Donovan; his mother Lena Gross Ivey; his siblings, Janie Silvey (Sammy), David Ivey (Sherry), Larry Ivey (Nancy) and Gayle White; and his close friends, Red and Susie Wilson. He is also survived by his Children, Grandchildren, and Great-Grandchildren.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made in Marvin's Honor to the Marvin Ivey Family Fund at Walters Funeral Home.
