He was predeceased by: his parent Hubert G.; and his siblings, Charles D. Gerhardt, James Gerhardt, Evelyn Lynch and Susan Gerhardt.
He is survived by: his parent Minnie Gerhardt (Crouse); his sons, Rick Gerhardt and Rob Gerhardt; and his brother John Gerhardt of Tennessee.
