He was predeceased by: his parents, Chet McCarty and Nancy McCarty; his brother-in-law Bill Davidson; and his grandson Alex Lucas. He is survived by: his wife Emma McCarty; his children, David McCarty, Jarrod McCarty, Nancy Lucas, Pauletta Rains and Ericka McCarty; his siblings, Larry McCarty (Margaret), Rosemary Davidson and Pat Carroll; and his grandchildren, Brittany Rains, Chris Lucas, Abbey McCarty, Alyssa Rains, Michael Lucas, Valerie Lucas and Connor McCarty. He is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren, and a whole host of other relatives and friends.
Due to COVID concerns, there will be no public visitation.
