He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Ayers and Pansy Goins Ayers; his grandparents, Ed and Ida Goins; and his father-in-law William Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Jones Ayers; his aunts, Brenda Goins and Mary Kimberlin; and his mother-in-law Faye Jones.
