With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Wilma Jean Elliott (Lake City, Tennessee), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Willie Duncan and Ella Mae Duncan of Lake City; her husband Jack Elliott; and her siblings, Rev. Otis Duncan, Clarence Duncan, Faye Stewart, Verdie Mae Duncan and Geneiva Ann Duncan.
She is survived by: her children, Shirley Roberts (Kirtus) of Rocky Top, Sharon Smith (Rick) of Rocky Top, Jeffrey Elliott of Clinton and Dr. Steven Elliott (Alison) of Clinton; her grandchildren, Corey Roberts (Rachel) of Andersonville, Brycen Roberts (Brittany Sawyer) of Knoxville, Jordon Smith (Chanler) of Knoxville, Connor Smith of Rocky Top, Megan Elliott of Clinton, Kelsey Myers (Terry) of Clinton, Caroline Elliott and Camille Elliott of Clinton; her great grandchildren, Brayden, Avery Elliott, Jase, Jackson Roberts, Wyatt, Waylon Myers and Willow Roberts; her siblings, Donnie Duncan (Audrey), Larry Duncan (Lynette), Chris White, Betty Toler, Ruby Toler, Becky Duncan and Judy McCoy; and her close friend Judy Reynolds. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hatmaker Funeral Home (503 S Main St, Rocky Top, TN 37769). A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Clear Branch Baptist Church (Leach Cemetery) (1030 New Clear Branch Rd, Rocky Top, TN 37769).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Wilma's name to Clear Branch Baptist Church of Rocky Top.
