It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda S. Cozart of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, who passed away on May 5, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Clifton and Denise Coker Hughes; and her daughters, Rita Michelle Cozart and Cricket Cozart. She is survived by: her husband Jim "PaPa Jim" Cozart of Lawrenceburg, TN; her sons, Jamie Cozart (Dolores) of Lawrenceburg, TN and Matt Cozart (Joye) of Minor Hill, TN; her stepmother Norma Clifton of Ethridge, TN; her stepbrothers, Johnny Jennings of Ethridge, TN, Donald Jennings (Kim) of Lawrenceburg, TN and Leon Jennings (Renee) of Parsons, TN; her grandchildren, Tyler Cozart, Blake Cozart, Makenna Cozart, Meah Cozart, Rebecca Staggs and Cody Polk; her friend Mary Nell Owens; and her close friends, Josh, Kayla Simbeck (family: Rick, Tracey Burge), Ray and Jennifer Price. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
