She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Daniel Mills II and Elizabeth Comer Mills; her husband Clifton Hogan Philpot, Jr.; and her brother Robert Daniel Mills, III. She is survived by : her children, Cliff Philpot, III (Beverly) of Lawrenceburg and Jane Philpot Thompson of Florence, AL; and her granddaughters, Margaret "Maggie" Elizabeth Philpot of Nashville, TN, Catherine "Laine" Elaine Philpot of Nashville, TN and Ann Paley of Lawrenceburg. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren; as well as nieces and nephews.

The family suggests memorials be made to First United Methodist Church, 212 Waterloo Street, Lawrenceburg, TN 38464.
