It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Carolyn Hughes Gobble of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, who passed away on December 6, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Douglas Reedus and Mary Charlene Welch Hughes; and her sisters, Mauvline Purcell and Jane Elizabeth Smith. She is survived by : her sons, Barry Bryant Gobble (Ginger) of Lawrenceburg, TN and Mark Hughes Gobble (Sydney) of Columbia, TN; her grandchildren, Taylor Gobble Pollock (Tye), Bryant James Gobble (Sarah), Willa Pineybrook Gobble and Weston Hollon-Hughes Gobble; her great grandchild Evelyn Pollock; and her siblings, Joyce Hughes Clark of Lawrenceburg, TN and Jerry Hughes (Mary Ann) of Lawrenceburg, TN..

The family suggests memorials be made to the American Lung Association.
