She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Lucas Sr. and Louise "Monnie" Summers; her stepfather Claude Summers; her sisters, Geraldine "Nannie" Collinsworth (Odell Grayson) and Joyce "Meme" Young; and her sister-in-law Brenda Joyce Huffman.
She is survived by: her son Taylor Jones (Ali); her grandchildren, Ily Jones, Braxton Bush, Waylon Jones, Lainey Jones and Lawson Jones; her siblings, Gerald Lucas (Sandy) and Regina Jacobs (Mike); and her pet Daisy. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to New Leash on Life in her memory.
