She was predeceased by: her parents, Palice Gray Cowan and Hazel Moss Cowan; her husband John Paul Dickens; her son-in-law Ricky Foster Climer; her brother Donald Gray Cowan; her sister-in-law Beverly Middaugh Cowan; and her granddaughter Kellie Ann Johnston Whited.
She is survived by: her children, Stephanie Gail Purtee (Ron), Cindy Climer, Ronnie Dickens (Pam) and Brian Dickens (Betty Ann); her grandchildren, Brad Whited (Natalie), Jennifer Fennell, Emily McCullough (Jesse), Jessica Johns (Rob), Ashley Anderson (Elaina), Alex Dickens (Jillian), Mitchell Dickens, Katie Edwards (Drew) and Sara Dickens; her great grandchildren, Grayson McCullough (Ansley), Caleb Whited, Lana Fennell, Anaya Amissah, Sadie McCullough, Maddox McCullough, Kenzie Johns, Willow Johns, Ellie Dickens and Abbie Dickens; her nephews, Wayne Cowan, David Cowan and Daniel Cowan; her grandson-in-law Jesse McCullough; and her close friend Cyrus Souza.
