In the sacred silence of farewell, Alfred is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Alfred's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his wife Jo Ann McNabb Russell; his parents, William Russell (Nell Russell) and Stella Lively Russell; and his sister Sybil. He is survived by: his niece Rachel Harness (Bill); and his sister-in-law Jean Ann Engel. He is also survived by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Funeral Home, Inc. (109 S Walnut St, Lenoir City, TN 37771). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Loudon County Memorial Gardens (6505 US-11, Lenoir City, TN 37771).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Loudon County Baptist Association or Central Baptist Church in Loudon.
