She was predeceased by: her parents, Vaughn Skidmore and Janie Skidmore; and her sisters, Jean Marie Skidmore and Diane Smelcer Johnson. She is survived by: her daughters, Crystal Scates (David) and Chasity DeWitt (David); her caregiver LaVonne Moore (Troy); her grandchildren, Amanda Gallagher (Josh), Tyson Silvey, Allen Scates, Kimberlee Scates, Lily Scates, Jade Scates, Nancy Scates, Shelby Duff and Brooke Randolph; her great grandchildren, Liberty, Justice, Valor, Maggie, Carter, Wrenlee, Octavia, Kieron and Azalea; and her sibling's children, Tona Pendray, Jessica Parrish, Lance Johnson, Vince Johnson and Rusty Smelcer.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Funeral Home, Inc. (109 S Walnut St, Lenoir City, TN 37771). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lakeview Cemetery City Park.
