He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Ralph Alexander, Sr. and Charlotte Alexander (Hambright). He is survived by: his wife Rikki Alexander (Roach); his sons, Gregg, Joshua (Sarah Traylor) and Matthew (Susan Traylor); his grandchildren, Joseph, Charlotte Alexander, Jack, Josie, Hartley, Hayden and Hollis Traylor; his sister Mary Frances; his brother-in-law Kenneth Ladd; his nieces, Lisa Keeling and Sarah Ladd; and his nephew Bryan Ladd.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:15 PM at the Cumberland Presbyterian Church (503 College St, Loudon, TN 37774). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
