He is survived by: his wife Kathy Smith Dickson; his children, Christian Allen Dickson and Lora Katherine Dickson Payant (Joseph); and his grandchildren, Madelyn Payant, Eloise Dickson, Walter Dickson, Logan Payant and Everlee Payant. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
