He was predeceased by: his parents, James Woodward and Jo Ann Cheek Woodward. He is survived by: his sons, Jesse Woodward of California and Jacob Woodward (Brooke) of Fargo, ND; his sister Cynthia Reese (Greg) of White House; and his sibling's children, Aaron Reese, Chelsea Hobbs and Amanda Moore.
