She was predeceased by : her parents, James Edward and Shirley Vester Blackwell Medley; and her siblings, Beverly Ann Wiser and Bobby Wayne Medley. She is survived by : her husband Jesse Marvin Ragsdale of Lewisburg, TN; her children, James David Bowen of Petersburg, TN, Melissa Lewis (Charles "Rabbitt") of Petersburg, TN, Susan Louise Bowen, Dakota Ray Poarch (Ryoko) and Keifer Jay Poarch; her great grandchildren, Kimerson Chaney, Keegan Chaney and Kylee Bowen; and her siblings, Shirley and Gary Leon Medley (Farmington Comm).

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lawrence Funeral Home (203 S Horton Pkwy, Chapel Hill, TN 37034). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the New Macedonia Free Will Baptist Church (3863 US-431, Columbia, TN 38401).
