She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Deward Holt and Annie Rydner Holt; her husband Billy Wayne Hopwood; and her son Steven Anthony Hopwood. She is survived by: her children, Janice Buckman (Glenn) of Lewisburg and Mikael Holt Hopwood (Terry) of Lewisburg; her daughter-in-law Teresa McCord Hopwood Spivey of Lewisburg; her grandchildren, Kristan Hollingsworth King (Preston Green), Kamron Hollingsworth (Jessie Robison), Steven Tanner Hopwood, Maria Kate Hopwood, Haley Hopwood, Alanna Hopwood, Cortney Buckman and Christopher Buckman; her great grandchildren, Gavin King, Landric Harmon, Sabra Irick, Kinley Hollingsworth and Tessa Omohundra; and her brothers, Dan Holt and David Holt. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home (320 W 7th St, Columbia, TN 38401). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
