He was predeceased by : his son Brad Lewis; his parents, Orvie Lewis and Lizzie Sego Lewis; his granddaughter Mollie Lin Lewis; and his siblings, Catherine Roberts (Claude), Herman Lewis (Geneva), Jack Lewis (Ernestine), Dood Lewis (Laverne), Jane Woods (Glavis), Doris Hollowell (Jim), Mary Lou McDaniel (Bob), Wayne Lewis (Virginia) and Brenda Weatherford (Max).

He is survived by : his wife Lynn Williams Lewis; his son Jeff Lewis (Lisa); and his granddaughter Mckenzie Brooke Lewis. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
