He was predeceased by : his parents, Chester Norton and Okie Norton; and his siblings, Ernest Norton, Lester Norton (Mokie), Velma Smith, Edith King and Jewel Grigsby.

He is survived by : his wife Mona Cleek Norton; and his siblings, Edward Norton and Pearl Bridwell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mt. Bethel Christian Church, 361 Clear Springs Road, Limestone, TN, 37681.
