He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Warden Brown and Ruth Sterling Alger (Nimocks); his wife Pat; his children, David Alger II of Punta Gorda, FL, Nancy Bowsher (Mark) of Punta Gorda, FL, Steve Alger (Dawn) of Bellaire, Susan Bishop (Nick) of Shelby Township and Andy Alger (Debbie) of Linden; and his former life partner Shirley Anne Alger. He was also cherished by grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
