He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Leo Rider and Genevieve Rider (Rau); his friend Curtis Kelley; his children, Roxanne M. Pear of Flushing and Gary S. Rider (Janet) of Florida; his stepdaughters, Eileen Paul (Dan), Sharon Briscock (Harry) and Marie Larbo; and his brothers, Richard and Ronald Rider. He was also cherished by 7 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
