It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Juanita Matthews of Livingston, Tennessee, who passed away on April 3, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Louis Pendergrass and Shirley Garrett Pendergrass; her husband Jesse Matthews; her siblings, Gena Thompson, Fonza Smith, Coy, Pratt, Bud, Clifford and Johnny Pendergrass; and her half-siblings, Betty Hash and David Pendergrass.

She is survived by : her children, David Matthews (Brooke) of Livingston, Gail Wilkinson (Jerry) of Livingston and Renita Sommers (Greg Tubbs) of Cookeville; her half-siblings, Nick Pendergrass of Byrdstown, TN and Nelda Clark of Indianapolis, IN; her grandchildren, Matt Wilkinson (Karen), Lisa Ledbetter (David), Ashley Hillabrand (T. J.), Dustin Matthews (Hunter), Macey Sommers, Zach Sommers and Heath; and her great grandchildren, Hayden, Halle, Dawson Ledbetter, Reese, Jesse Wilkinson, Kasyn, Bexley Hillabrand, Everly Matthews and Raven Carpenter.
