He was predeceased by: his siblings, William "Billy" Hix and Suzie Hix. He is survived by: his children, Scotty Hix (Chrystal) of Cookeville, TN and Candy Hix Mullins (Richard James) of Gainesboro, TN; the mother of his children Wilma Tinsley of Hilham, TN; his sister Ethel Reagan (Carl) of Cookeville, TN; his grandchildren, Kristen Hix, Payton Hix, Grayce Hix and Ashley Lanae Thompson; his great grandchildren, Matti Thompson, Cade Thompson, Christian Thompson, Brock Thompson and Landen Hatcher; and his nieces and nephews, Shelia Reagan, Kevin and Jerry Michael Gilford.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home, Inc. (2131 S Grundy Quarles Hwy, Gainesboro, TN 38562). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
