With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peggy Jane Wood of Livingston, Tennessee, born in Allred, Tennessee, who passed away on January 25, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Gentry Copeland and Pate Copeland of Allred, TN.; her husband James "Jim" M. Wood of Livingston, TN; her children, Mark Copeland (Shelia) of Knoxville, TN, John Copeland (Rhonda) of Alpine, TN, Kathy Lynn Copeland and Jeff Copeland; her siblings, Judy Buford, Carol Ashburn (Fred) and Joe Copeland; her step-children, Jimmy Wood (Marsha) of Murfreesboro, Daryl Wood (Angie) of Monterey and Janine Poss (Eric) of Maryland; her former husband Lavon Copeland; and her grandsons, Cody Wood and Dakota Sams. She was also cherished by 18 Grandchildren, 21 Great Grandchildren and 3 more Great Grandchildren, family and friends.

“I was sad to hear of Peggy's passing last week, but happy that she is with our Savior that she loved so much and served so well. We were classmataes at Livingston Academy. Last fall a few of us got together for lunch and Peggy and I sat together and had such a good talk about so many things and had some laughs, too. That is how I will remembert her.”
