He is survived by: his wife Kathy Bowers; his sisters, Helen Moyers and Linda Cox (Tom); his siblings-in-law, Helen Bowers, Mike Whittaker (Patricia), Jeff Whittaker (Karen), Kenneth Renner and Bruce McGill; his siblings' children, Lee Connatser (Kristi), Travis Connatser (Debbie), Tim McGill (Lori), Don Moyers (Amy), Greg Moyers (Linda), Scott Whittaker, Tony Whittaker (April), Amy Lemka (Jason), Adam Whittaker (Lynsey), Ashton Presnell (Jeremy), Paige Mallicoat (Tim) and Sabella Sauceman; and his close friends, Robert and Joyce Landry.
