He was predeceased by: his parents, Lell B. Hinton and Hazel Hill Hinton; and his brother Jerry Hinton of Petersville, AL.. He is survived by: his son James Hinton (Candace); his grandsons, Nicholas Hinton, Austin Hinton, Bobby Fox (Brooklyn), Carson Hinton, Landon Hinton and Wyatt Hinton; his great grandchildren, Aaron Risner, Damon Hinton and Aaden Hinton; and his brother Gary Hinton (Shirley). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to a local veteran's association in your area in Joel's name; or donate at the time of the service and it will be dispersed accordingly.
