He was predeceased by : his parents, Fonnie Raymond Simmons Sr. and Bessie Simmons; his sister Sandra Lincoln; and his pet Lil Buddy. He is survived by : his wife Sue Cary Simmons of Fayetteville; his sons, Tracy Simmons (Teresa) of Fayetteville, Mark Simmons (Sue) of Fayetteville and Jason Groce (Lana) of Fayetteville; his grandchildren, Lance Simmons (Jenna) of Woodstock, GA, Matthews Percy (Julia) of Gallatin, Freddie Arnold (Sherry) of Elora, Hannah Simmons of Huntsville, Logan Groce of Fayetteville and Allie Groce of Fayetteville; his great grandchild Brooks Miles Simmons; his sister-in-law Judy Pierce of Lynchburg; and his pet Maddie.
